We'd love to hear from you!

Hi there

Feel a bit bad that we haven't kept in touch after we adopted Dixie (border collie x). However just thought to let you know we are delighted with her. She fitted in right from the start and just loves children and is great with cats and other dogs.

We all now live on a 10 acre farmlet and she just loves to run around. She is still a fussy eater and we have to kid to her a bit to get her to eat. She loves chicken necks the best and also a bit of good old pet roll. I am not such a fan of feeding pet roll but it doesn't do her any harm as she is a real racing model and soon burns it off.

She has a chocolate lab (Rosie) and a 3 month old fox terrier (Mila) for dog company and they all get on very well. Dixie is also very good with other animals and often cruises around with Wilson our Kune Kune and sniffs noses with the ponies.

She would have been such a great agility dog but we don't have the time to take her to the classes. She can jump amazingly high.

When we first got her she wasn't so sure on water and swimming but we soon found we couldn't her out of the water - she just loves it and is a strong swimmer.

All 3 dogs sleep inside on their human bean bags. We also have 3 birman cats and she is very good with them as well.

She just doesn't have a bad bone in her body and is completely trustworthy when children are about. She is very loveable and is always keen for pat or cuddle. She loves to play chase with us and the other dogs. Just thought you may like to hear how she is getting on.

Regards Frank and Liz
