Hi guys
Just an update to let you know how Claude is doing and give you some more recent
pictures of him out on some of his adventures.
Hi everyone my name is Claude and I'm a Hungarian Vizsla/Lab cross.
I have been with my new mum and dad for around four months now and am loving my new home. I really love my
new family and follow them everywhere they go so that I cant miss out on any excitement.
I have my own bed at the foot of their bed and I love how comfortable it is. I have also learnt a lot
of new tricks that mum and dad find amusing. Sometimes I try to talk to them but they cant understand me.
My mum loves to go running and I love running with her, I run right next to her and pay
careful attention to where she is going so that I can follow her if she tries to sneak away.
Sometimes we go for walks along the local riverbeds where I am allowed to use my nose and find
lots of interesting things for mum and dad to look at (they aren't as good with their noses as I am).
When I find something I stop and stare at it and they come over for a look (they are too noisy though
and usually scare it away). I love finding quail because I like the sound they make
when they fly away in a hurry.
I am good at finding rabbits and used to try to chase them but dad doesn't like that so I
don't chase them if they run anymore.
I used to get quite distracted when I was looking for interesting things to play with and
would wander away from mum and dad a bit too far. They used to hide from me when I did
this (but they forgot I have a good nose and could find them easily) However I didn't like it
when they disappeared so I make sure I pay attention to them no matter what I'm doing now.
Its quite sad but my dads dad died recently so we have all moved in with his mum to keep her entertained.
I didn't mind moving because my mate Casper (a samoyed) lives there too and we get to play whenever we want.
Thanks again for looking after me while I was waiting to meet my new family.
Claude
