Hi Charlie and Pam
Tippy Trickster is adorable, as you both know :-)
He loves to have a cuddle in bed every morning around 7.30 and then he quite likes to demolish
his favourite cushion before breakfast. We called him Trickster because when our backs were
turned he would take off with cushions or socks or rugs and make a pile out of them on the
living room floor, then go back to his basket and pretend nothing had happened.
He has demolished a couple of books so we have to be careful with them now and not leave them
lying around. He has his own toys, but likes to steal away with other things like a wee magpie.
We also call him Hoofey, because, as you'll know, he loves to "hoof" you when he sits
beside you; he's saying "Tummy rub! Tummy rub!".
That back leg of his still comes up whenever you approach, which makes him look very comical.
He loves Lola, our other dog, although is sometimes a bit boisterous for her as she's getting older.
Most days they both go for a walk in the hills above Lyttelton with Phil; they like to share smells
and doggie secrets up there. Sometimes they go for walks separately if Lola wants a less strenuous walk.
Tippy also likes to go visit his human Nannie with Lola -- she lives in a unit above our house.
When we go out at night, Nannie dog - sits them both and gives lots of treats, so he has soon become
very fond of her!
He has put on weight and his tail is always wagging. The only time it stops is when we have to go
out somewhere without him, then he puts on a sad face. The welcome we get when we return is humongous!
Tippy sends his love -- he's sniffing my feet (he sits under my desk lots, and likes to munch on his toys).
Thanks again for sending such a wonderful friend our way ...
