Here are some photos of Wally and Digby, our Dogwatch boys!
Wally with his beloved ball, which he was very scared of when he first came
to live with us, nearly 9 months ago now.
Digby and Wally snuggled into their baskets.
Both Wally and Digby are the sweetest dogs you could ever imagine and are
the best of friends. They have both settled into our family so well.
We also have Elsa, a Lab/Dalmatian cross, Rassy, a wise wee tabby cat who is
the boss of the house and Max the turtle. They all get on well
together and enjoy spending time out in our garden playing in the sunshine.
Wally has come along in leaps and bounds (literally) since we got him. He is
a real farm dog, who likes to sleep outside in his kennel
and gets onto the couch as if he was jumping over a fence. He loves to chase
and play with his ball especially at the beach as he
also loves to swim.
He was quite a nervous boy when we first got him and
cowered if you went to throw the ball and dived at his food bowl
as if he had never eaten before, but it only took him a few weeks to settle
down and now he is the most loving, playful, well behaved boy.
His favourite thing is cuddling on the couch every night!
Digby is a real star and everybody who meets him falls in love with him. He
is still very much a puppy and makes us laugh all the time.
He is interested in everything and everyone. He loves playing with Wally and
going to the dog park where he will play with any dog he can,
big or small, he has the best social skills.
His favourite thing to cuddle
is a soft toy turtle that he carries around and sleeps with in
his basket. Although he is not into swimming yet, he loves the beach and
loves to drag big pieces of seaweed or wood out of the water to chew.
We still can't quite believe he is ours after we nearly missed out on
getting him.
So both the boys are doing fantastically and we love them so much. Thank you
for saving them and letting them come to live with us.
Kind Regards Glenn and Katie
