We'd love to hear from you!

Hello,

Ace was adopted in early April 2009 and he has made himself right at home with us and the other three dogs: Gus, Finn and Minstrel. Minstrel is the one in the photo with him. I thought that he looked like a "Luke" so that's what he's been named.

He still loves his food and tries to do a great impression of a canine vacuum cleaner when he's fed. At each meal his food gets put down in installments to try to give his digestive system a chance to cope. His passion for food is useful for training him though - he is very obedient when he thinks there is a food reward available.

He enjoys exploring the 25 acres that we live on and his walks in the surrounding countryside. Plus he loves cuddles! Once the weather gets a bit warmer I'll be taking him to obedience classes and then probably to Canine Good Citizen classes after that.

He is an great little fella and we enjoy having him around. Thanks to all at Dogwatch for the wonderful job that you do. It is significant for us because our oldest dog, Gus, was rescued by us from the pound in Auckland and he is such a lovely dog that it is nice to think that through Dogwatch many other dogs are getting the same chance that Gus has had.

Vicky
