* UPDATE - Ralph the Huntaway cross was dumped on our property just before Christmas and he was a terrified mess.  He has come along way since then, and now he is going even further!  Ralph is off to Clevedon, Auckland to a 60 acre bush block.  Ralph will enjoy the company of an 11 month old male Ridgeback and 2 cats that are all indoor/outdoor companions.  He will enjoy regular access to 500 acres and beach runs.  We will miss our long stayer Ralph and wish him all the very best! *
Thanks to Lee and Darryl for fostering him in the beginning and Pam and Neil that have had him for the last few months - he's been well loved!

.... the new owners of Ralph first enquired about him after the item on TV3 news about the overflow of dogs and puppies in ChCh.

Pictured is RALPH, a 7 month old Huntaway cross.  Ralph is a beaut young dog (not a barker) with loads of potential.  He is a tad shy at first, but really coming out of his shell and loving his happy time in foster care - excellent with the other dogs.  He is very placid and calm, but needs good daily mental stimulation and activity.  Suited to a family with older children.  View the video below.
